Ready For A Schedule

We are back from vacation (which was awesome) and we are all ready to get back to a schedule. We were even ready to get back to work and school. If you can believe it.

I've been sending newsletters for quite a while, but this is my first "blog post" and I can see I have a lot of kinks to work out. Please be patient with me as I try to navigate this new system and new way of sending out emails. The one thing I'm having issues with is pictures. So, they may or may not look good. Technology is not my jam!!

When I travel there are a few things I need to have with me, that just make traveling easier.

1. Box Naturals have been in my bag and my purse for years. These are terrific freshening up, especially during long trips.

2. Tan Towels are the perfect way to add color and self tan on a trip. Each wipe is individually wrapped and is enough to tan both legs.

3. Palmers Skin Therapy Oil is my new favorite skin care item. I love this so much and it's under $10. This one oil does it all.

4. Travel Mirrors are critical. Lighting is almost always miserable in hotel rooms, or nonexistent. I finally found this mirror that has a light up function and 10x magnification.

5. Nail Polish Wipes help when a manicure goes south on a trip.

6. Slippers because (little fact about me) I don't go barefoot in a hotel room. Heck, I'm rarely barefoot at home. I keep a pair of slippers in my suitcase at all times.

7. Snacks. I love the That's It Bars and I just found this flavor and they have a bit of a kick to them. If you don't want a kick then Apple and Strawberry or Apple and Mango on my favorites.

If you've been on line at all, you've probably seen everyone talking about the Nordstrom Sale. I do watch the sale, but I don't live and die by it. We have so much Summer left here in Tennessee. It's hard to look at Fall sweaters, jeans and boots, when it's 80% humidity outside.

Having said that, I'm loving finding some great deals for Fall. While, I can't wear anything yet, I found a few deals on Amazon that were even better than on the NSale. These boots are fantastic. They are a little higher but it's a lug sole and they are very sturdy. They run a 1/2 size large so do not order up. I just received the cream and will probably go back for the brown.

Another thing I just ordered was a Free People sweater. It was 30% off from the price at Nordstrom. Plus, there are more colors on Amazon. Bonus. Anytime, you're looking at a name brand item, check on Amazon. It's possible you could find it cheaper.

Wish me luck on more blog posts. Lol. I'm definitely trying to learn this and post blog posts more often. Twice a month is my goal.
