This week we are snowed in. 6 inches of snow and record low temps for us here in Middle TN. For most areas, that might not sound like much, but we are not prepared for zero temps, snow and ice. As an example, our mail comes out of Nashville (delivered to our little town) and we aren't getting mail because the roads are too bad for the trucks to make it here.
This week is my birthday week. 56. There's a big difference celebrating birthdays at this age vs decades ago. I want to be happy and healthy and have someone take me to dinner. Lol.
Ok, maybe a trip to the antique store. But, that's the extent of it.

It's my birthday week too! It's my 50th, and I'm not sure I've been so excited about my birthday since I hit 16. I'm not sad, just incredibly thankful for my blessings. My husband took me to Hibachi this weekend with our best friends, and it seems I will get the whole week off with this crazy weather (I'm a teacher). What more could I ask for? Stay warm.
