Spring Forward

Setting clocks forward has me so excited. I'm definitely ready for longer days and more daylight. Last weekend, we had bad storms and right in the middle of the high winds and storm warnings, we had a baby goat born. It was a surprise. Mama (Rachel. All of our goats are named after Friends characters) is quite small so we were not even sure she was pregnant. The baby, Ben, is darling. I've said this before, we could sit and watch the babies jumping all day long.

Last week I released a new video on wearing and tucking in a t-shirt. This video is a follow up to one I released a couple years ago on half tucking and front tucking a shirt. It's an old video (not great quality, yikes) but still many good points to help us all feel comfortable doing a front tuck as a mature woman. I'm not a huge fan of the half tuck (one side tucked in and the other side not tucked), but we can definitely look and feel confident with a front tuck or something similar. As you'll see in the video.

Utility Pants/Cargo Pants everywhere these days. In this video, I share a few styling ideas and tips for wearing cargo pants. Next, I need to find some utility shorts. Some that aren't too short of course.

There 2 new companies I'm absolutely in love with and I'm excited to share them with you. One is a small company called Gravies. It's small shop that makes Christ centered jewelry. Most pieces are sterling silver and come with a bible verse. Some pieces contain Roman Glass that were uncovered during archeological digs in the Holy Land. I got the prettiest adjustable ring call "Vine and Branches". I got one for me and one for my daughter. We love them. They are so pretty. Plus, they donate profits to Operation Underground Railroad. If you choose any pieces from Gravies, use code Dawn for a discount. They would be perfect for Easter or Mother's Day.

The other is Madison Braids. I thought I would love the pretty braid headbands, but actually the ponytail accessory is my favorite. It makes my ponytail/bun look more substantial and natural. Madison Braids does such a good job color matching your hair also. I think you'll love their products, especially if you don't have a lot of hair or you're not great at styling. These pieces are also perfect for "special occasion" hair. Use code Dawn for a discount.

If you're not part of my Facebook Group, I'd love to have you join me there. We have some great conversations and Friday Favorites is the best. Here are a few of the things shared recently. Retinol Eye Stick, Loreal True Match Foundation, Milani Mascara.

Thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you.

God Bless,

Dawn
