Today, I'm sharing some tips and tricks for using liquid eyeliner, which for those of us that have mature skin, eyeliner can seem a bit tricky. It's really all about the technique, which I promise isn't as daunting as you may think, so let's get right to it.
First of all, you want to prep your eye area and face with a primer, which will help your products from wearing or smudging during the day. I love this makeup primer.
Once my eye area is prepped, I grab my liquid eyeliner and get started. I really love this Physician's Formula Eye Booster liquid liner, it goes on so easily and holds up until I remove it. I created a video of how I create the winged eye here. Bonus, this liner is very affordable, which you know I'm all about keeping things affordable.
As you can see, it's all about the placement of the eyeliner that gives your eye a lift while also defining your upper lashes. I love how the wing draws the eye upward, giving your eyes a more lifted appearance.
If you don't like winged eyeliner, this liquid liner is also great for lining the top lashes, which give your lashes a fuller look.
I hope this helps. Please leave a comment if you try this or I can answer a question for you.
Love, Dawn
