Save Time Prepping Coffee

I'm a big believer in working ahead to save time later, especially if it means a smoother morning. As you might know, I love my morning coffee, but I do not love fixing it sleepy-eyed. I usually prepare the coffee the night before, set the timer, and do not think about it again until the aroma begins to fill the morning stillness.

Save Time Unloading the Dishwasher

Since we own a dishwasher, we already have a time saver. I cannot imagine washing dishes by hand 3 times a day! Because we already have this modern luxury, I think it is a good idea for me to maximize the time spent on this monotonous chore even more. Frugal and Time Saving Cornbread

By its nature, cornbread is one of the most frugal dishes you can make. The trick however, is finding a recipe that your family enjoys. While all families are different, my family thinks it is a treat when I make the following recipe. It is a lighter, cake-like cornbread.
Corn Bread
1 cup corn meal
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
